Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
