Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
