The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 shall be the food of the sinful. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 (And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell, 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 Therefore We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue. They may haply take a warning. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59
