Verily the tree of Zaqqum: 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
