Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of Zaqqum 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the boiling of hot water. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 'Taste! Surely thou art the mighty, the noble. 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
