Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ha, Meem. 1 This Scripture is sent down from God, the Mighty and Wise One. 2 Behold, in the heavens as well as on earth there are indeed messages for all who [are willing to] believe. 3 and in your creation, and the crawling things He scatters abroad, there are signs for a people having sure faith, 4 And (in) the variation of the night and the day, and (in) what Allah sends down of sustenance from the cloud, then gives life thereby to the earth after its death, and (in) the changing of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand. 5 Such are the Signs of Allah, which We rehearse to thee in Truth; then in what exposition will they believe after (rejecting) Allah and His Signs? 6 Woe to every guilty impostor 7 Who hears the verses of Allah recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment. 8 As for he who knows something of Our verses and then mocks them for those there is a humiliating punishment. 9 In front of them there is Hell, and that which they have earned will be of no profit to them, nor (will be of any profit to them) those whom they have taken as Auliya' (protectors, helpers, etc.) besides Allah. And theirs will be a great torment. 10 This is guidance. Those who deny the revelations of their Lord will suffer a dreadful doom. 11
