Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ha'. Mim. 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 2 Verily, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers. 3 And in your creation, and all the creatures He scatters in the earth – in them are signs for the people who are certain. 4 And (in) the variation of the night and the day, and (in) what Allah sends down of sustenance from the cloud, then gives life thereby to the earth after its death, and (in) the changing of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand. 5 These are God's revelations, which We recite to you in all truth. But if they deny God and His revelations, in what message will they believe? 6 Alas the woe for every dissembling sinner 7 Who hears the revelations of God being recited to him, yet persists in denying with arrogance as though he had never heard them! So warn him of a painful punishment. 8 And when he knows anything of Our signs, he takes them in mockery; those for them awaits a humbling chastisement. 9 In front of them is Hell: and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides Allah: for them is a tremendous Penalty. 10 This (Quran) is a guidance. And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, for them there is a painful torment of Rijz (a severe kind of punishment). 11
