Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
HaMeem. 1 The revelation of the Book (this Quran) is from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 2 Indeed in the heavens and the earth are signs for believers. 3 and in your creation, and the crawling things He scatters abroad, there are signs for a people having sure faith, 4 and in the alternation of the night and day, in the provision Allah sends down from heaven with which the earth is revived after its death, and in the changing about of the winds, there are signs for people who understand. 5 These are God's revelations, which We recite to you in all truth. But if they deny God and His revelations, in what message will they believe? 6 Woe to every guilty impostor 7 He hears God's revelations being recited to him, yet persists in his arrogance as if he had never heard them. Forewarn him of a painful punishment. 8 When he learns about some of Our revelations, he mocks them. Such people will suffer a humiliating torment. 9 Before them is hell, and there shall not avail them aught of what they earned, nor those whom they took for guardians besides Allah, and they shall have a grievous punishment. 10 This Book is guidance, and those who disbelieve in the revelations of their Lord, theirs shall be torment of calamity, afflictive. 11
