Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha, Meem. 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 2 Behold, for those who believe there are (myriad) Signs in the heavens and the earth 3 And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith]. 4 and in the alternation of night and day, and the provision God sends down from heaven, and therewith revives the earth after it is dead, and the turning about of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand. 5 These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in what announcement would they believe after Allah and His communications? 6 Woe to every sinful liar, 7 He hears God's revelations being recited to him, yet persists in his arrogance as if he had never heard them. Forewarn him of a painful punishment. 8 Whenever he comes to know anything of Our Signs, he makes them an object of jest. For such there awaits a humiliating chastisement. 9 Behind them Gehenna; and that they have earned shall not avail them aught, nor those they took as protectors, apart from God; for them awaits a mighty chastisement. 10 Such is Our guidance; those who reject their Lord's revelations shall suffer a woeful punishment. 11
