Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ha'. Mim. 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 2 Indeed, there are signs in the heavens and earth for believers, 3 And in the creation of yourselves and of the beasts that He hath scattered over the earth, are signs unto a people who are convinced. 4 And in the alternation of Night and Day, and the fact that Allah sends down Sustenance from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the change of the winds,- are Signs for those that are wise. 5 Those are the signs of God that We recite to thee in truth; in what manner of discourse then, after God and His signs, will they believe? 6 Woe unto every sinful self-deceiver 7 who hears the signs of God being recited to him, then perseveres in waxing proud, as if he has not heard them; so give him the good tidings of a painful chastisement. 8 When he learns something of Our revelations, he derides them: for such there will be humiliating torment. 9 Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment. 10 This is guidance. Those who deny the revelations of their Lord will suffer a dreadful doom. 11
