Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ha Mim. 1 The revelation of the Book (this Quran) is from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 2 Verily in the heavens and the earth, are Signs for those who believe. 3 And in your creation, and what He scattered (through the earth) of moving (living) creatures are signs for people who have Faith with certainty. 4 And in the alternation of night and day and that which Allah sendeth down of provision from the heaven and thereby quickeneth the earth after the death thereof and the turning about of the winds, are signs unto a people who reflect. 5 These are Allah's Signs that We rehearse to you in Truth. In what kind of discourse after Allah and His Signs will they, then, believe? 6 Woe to each sinful dealer in Falsehoods: 7 Who heareth the revelations of Allah recited unto him, and then continueth in pride as though he heard them not. Give him tidings of a painful doom. 8 And when he knows anything of Our signs, he takes them in mockery; those for them awaits a humbling chastisement. 9 Beyond them there is hell, and that which they have earned will naught avail them, nor those whom they have chosen for protecting friends beside Allah. Theirs will be an awful doom. 10 This (Qur'an) is the true guidance. Those who deny the Signs of their Lord shall suffer the torment of a woeful scourge. 11
