۞ It is God who has subjected the sea to you so that you may sail thereon by His command, and so that you may seek His bounty, and so that you may be grateful. 12 He has subjected to you whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth; all is from Him. Surely, there are signs in this for people who contemplate. 13 Tell the believers to forgive those who do not fear the visitations of God, so that He may requite the people for their deeds. 14 Whoever does what is just and right, does so for his own good; and whoever does evil, does so to his own hurt; and in the end unto your Sustainer you all will be brought back. 15 And assuredly. We vouchsafed unto the Children of Israil the Book and the wisdom and the propherhood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them above the worlds. 16 We gave them clear signs of the Command; yet it was not until after knowledge had come to them that they differed among themselves, and were insolent to each other. On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will indeed decide their differences. 17 We have established for you a code of conduct and a religion. Follow it and do not follow the desires of the ignorant people. 18 They can be of no avail to you against God. The wrongdoers are friends of one another, while the friend of the righteous is God. 19 This Book is an enlightenment unto mankind and a guidance, and a mercy unto a People who are convinced. 20 Do those who commit evil deeds imagine that We shall deal with them in the same way as We deal with those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds, that they will be alike in their living and their dying? How badly they judge! 21
