Al-Jaatheyah 3 of 4

Allah created the heavens and the earth in Truth that each person may be requited for his deeds. They shall not be wronged. 22 [Prophet], consider the one who has taken his own desire as a deity, whom God allows to stray in the face of knowledge, sealing his ears and heart and covering his eyes -- who can guide such a person after God [has abandoned him]? Will you not take heed? 23 They say, "There is nothing but our life in this world: we die, we live, nothing but time destroys us." They have no knowledge of this; they only follow conjecture. 24 When Our enlightening revelations are recited to them, their only argument against it is, "Bring our forefathers back to life if what you say is true". 25 Say: 'Allah revives you and causes you to die. Then, He shall gather you on the Day of Resurrection, and of this there is no doubt, yet most people do not know' 26
