Al-Jaatheyah 3 of 4
Allah created the heavens and the earth in Truth that each person may be requited for his deeds. They shall not be wronged. 22 Beholdest thou him who taketh for his god his own vain desire, and Allah hath sent him astray despite his knowledge, and hath sealed up his hearing and his heart, and hath set on his sight a covering? Who will guide him after Allah? Will ye not then be admonished? 23 And they say: "What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture: 24 And [so,] whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, their only argument is this: "Bring forth our forefathers [as witnesses,] if what you claim is true!" 25 Say thou: Allah keepeth you alive, then He shall cause you to die, then He shall assemble you on the Day of Resurrection whereof there is no doubt; but most of mankind know not. 26
