Al-Jaatheyah 3 of 4

Allah created the heavens and the earth for just ends, and in order that each soul may find the recompense of what it has earned, and none of them be wronged. 22 Just look at him who makes his desire as his God, and Allah has sent him astray despite his having knowledge, and set a seal upon his ears and his heart, and a covering upon his eyes; so who will guide him after Allah? So do you not ponder? 23 And they say: there is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and naught destroyeth us save time. And they have no knowledge thereof; they do but guess. 24 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, their only argument is, “Bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful!” 25 Say, "God gives you life, then causes you to die, and then will gather you together for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. But most people do not know it." 26
