To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. On the day when the Hour of Doom arrives, the followers of falsehood will be lost. 27 And you will see each nation humbled to their knees (kneeling), each nation will be called to its Record (of deeds). This Day you shall be recompensed for what you used to do. 28 This is Our Book, that speaks against you the truth; We have been registering all that you were doing.' 29 So, those who believed and did good things will be admitted to His favour by their Lord. This will be a clear triumph. 30 But as for those who disbelieved (it will be said to them): "Were not Our Verses recited to you? But you were proud, and you were a people who were Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals)." 31 for when it was said, 'Behold, God's promise always comes true, and there can be no doubt about [the coming of] the Last Hour' - you would answer, 'We do not know what that Last Hour may be: we think it is no more than an empty guess, and [so] we are by no means convinced!'" 32 And there will appear unto them the evils of that which they had worked, and there will surround them that whereat they had been mocking. 33 And it will be said, "Today We will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours, and your refuge is the Fire, and for you there are no helpers. 34 This, because you took the revelations of Allah (this Quran) in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you. So this Day, they shall not be taken out from there (Hell), nor shall they be Yusta'tabun (i.e. they shall not return to the worldly life, so that they repent to Allah, and beg His Pardon for their sins). 35 Then praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, the Lord of the Worlds. 36 And His alone is all majesty in the heavens and on earth; and He alone is almighty, truly wise! 37
