For, God's is the dominion over the heavens and the earth; and on the Day when the Last Hour dawns - on that Day will be lost all who [in their lifetime] tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 27 You will see each community kneeling down; and each community will be summoned to its ledger (of good and evil deeds). You will receive upon that day your recompense for what you had done. 28 This Our Record speaks about you with truth. Verily, We were recording what you used to do (i.e. Our angels used to record your deeds). 29 So those who believed and did good deeds – their Lord will admit them into His mercy; this is the clear triumph. 30 But, to the unbelievers (it will be said): 'Were My verses not recited to you, but you were proud and were you not a sinful nation' 31 And when it was said: "Verily! Allah's Promise is the truth, and there is no doubt about the coming of the Hour," you said; "We know not what is the Hour, we do not think it but as a conjecture, and we have no firm convincing belief (therein)." 32 And the evil deeds that they have done shall appear to them, and they shall be encompassed by that they mocked at. 33 They will be told, "On this day We shall forget you in the same way that you had forgotten your coming into Our presence. Your dwelling will be hell fire and no one will help you. 34 That is because you took the communications of Allah for a jest and the life of this world deceived you. So on that day they shall not be brought forth from it, nor shall they be granted goodwill. 35 Praise, belongs to Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Worlds. 36 And His alone is all majesty in the heavens and on earth; and He alone is almighty, truly wise! 37
