And to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And on the Day that the Hour will be established, on that Day the followers of falsehood (polytheists, disbelievers, worshippers of false deities, etc.) shall lose (everything). 27 And you will see each nation humbled to their knees (kneeling), each nation will be called to its Record (of deeds). This Day you shall be recompensed for what you used to do. 28 This, Our record, speaks about you in truth. Indeed, We were having transcribed whatever you used to do." 29 Then, as for those who believed and did good works, their Lord will bring them in unto His mercy. That is the evident triumph. 30 But those who rejected the truth [will be asked], "When My revelations were recited to you, were you not arrogant and did you not persist in wicked deeds? 31 Whenever it was said: 'God's promise is certainly true, and there is no doubt about the Hour,' you replied: 'We know not what the Hour is. We have only a vague idea, but are not certain.' 32 And the evils of their deeds appeared to them, and the punishment they used to mock at encompassed them. 33 And it shall be said, 'Today We do forget you, even as you forgot the encounter of this your day; and your refuge is the Fire, and you shall have no helpers. 34 This is only because you had mocked the revelations of God and the worldly life had deceived you. On this day they will not be taken out of hell, nor will they be granted any favors. 35 So to God belongs praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, Lord of all Being. 36 And His alone is all majesty in the heavens and on earth; and He alone is almighty, truly wise! 37
