Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Those who disbelieve and turn (men) from the way of Allah, He rendereth their actions vain. 1 But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition. 2 That is because those who disbelieved followed falsehood whereas those who believed followed the Truth that came to them from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth to people parables showing their true state. 3 So when you confront the disbelievers, strike at their necks; until when you have slain them in plenty, tie them up firmly; then after that, you may either release them as a favour or take ransom, until the war lays down its ordeal; this is it; and had Allah willed He Himself could have taken revenge from them, but this is to test some of you with others; and Allah will surely never waste the deeds of those who were killed in His way. 4 Anon He shall guide them, and shall make good their state. 5 And admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them. 6 Believers, if you aid Allah, He will come to your aid and will plant your feet firmly. 7 The fate of the disbelievers will be to stumble and their deeds will have no virtuous results; 8 It is because they are averse to what God has revealed that He has rendered their deeds futile. 9 ۞ Have they not travelled through the earth, and seen what was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed them completely and a similar (fate awaits) the disbelievers. 10 That is because Allah is the patron of those who believe, and because the infidels! no patron is theirs. 11
