In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Those who disbelieve and bar from the way of Allah, Allah will cause their deeds go astray. 1 But those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what is sent down to Muhammad -- and it is the truth from their Lord -- He will acquit them of their evil deeds, and dispose their minds aright. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and have given them their dowries, taking (them) in marriage, not fornicating nor taking them for paramours in secret; and whoever denies faith, his work indeed is of no account, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers. 3 If you encounter the disbelievers in a battle, strike-off their heads. Take them as captives when they are defeated. Then you may set them free as a favor to them, with or without a ransom, when the battle is over. This is the Law. Had God wanted, He could have granted them (unbelievers) victory, but He wants to test you through each other. The deeds of those who are killed for the cause of God will never be without virtuous results. 4 He will guide them, and dispose their minds aright, 5 And cause them to enter the garden which He has made known to them. 6 O ye who believe! if ye shall succour Allah, He shall succour you and make firm your feet. 7 As for the unbelievers, they will suffer misfortunes, and their deeds will be rendered ineffective. 8 That is because they have been averse to what God has sent down, so He has made their works to fail. 9 ۞ Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah. 10 This, because God is the Protector of all who have attained to faith, whereas they who deny the truth have no protector. 11
