Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
(As for) those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way, He shall render their works ineffective. 1 And those who believe and work righteous works and believe in that which hath been revealed unto Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He shall expiate their misdeeds from them and shall make good their state. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Even so God strikes their similitudes for men. 3 When you meet those who deny the truth in battle, strike them in the neck, and once they are defeated, make [them] prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as an act of grace, or let them ransom [themselves] until the war is finally over. Thus you shall do; and if God had pleased, He would certainly have exacted retribution from them, but His purpose is to test some of you by means of others. As for those who are killed in God's cause, He will never let their deeds be in vain; 4 Anon He shall guide them, and shall make good their state. 5 And He shall make them enter the Garden; He shall have made it known unto them. 6 O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet. 7 As to those who disbelieve, perdition lies in store for them and Allah has reduced their works to nought. 8 That is because they hated what Allah revealed, so He rendered their deeds null. 9 ۞ Have they not travelled through the earth, and seen what was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed them completely and a similar (fate awaits) the disbelievers. 10 that is because Allah is the Guardian of the believers, and the unbelievers have no guardian. 11
