In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieve and bar from the way of Allah, Allah will cause their deeds go astray. 1 And those who accepted faith and did good deeds and believed in what has been sent down upon Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) – and that is the truth from their Lord – Allah has relieved them of some of their evils and refined their condition. 2 That is because those who refuse to believe only follow what is false; but those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. That is how God gives men precepts of wisdom. 3 So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom (themselves) until the war terminates. That (shall be so); and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have exacted what is due from them, but that He may try some of you by means of others; and (as for) those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will by no means allow their deeds to perish. 4 He will guide them and improve their state, 5 and He will admit them to the Paradise He has made known to them. 6 O ye who believe! if ye shall succour Allah, He shall succour you and make firm your feet. 7 But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), for them is destruction, and (Allah) will make their deeds vain. 8 they have hated God's revelation, and thus, He has made their deeds devoid of all virtue. 9 ۞ Have they not travelled the earth and seen how those before them met their end? God destroyed them utterly: a similar fate awaits those who deny the truth. 10 that is because Allah is the Guardian of the believers, and the unbelievers have no guardian. 11
