Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Those who disbelieve and bar from the way of Allah, Allah will cause their deeds go astray. 1 As for those who attained to faith and did righteous works and believed in what was revealed to Muhammad -- which indeed is the Truth from their Lord -- Allah has remitted their evil deeds and has set their condition right. 2 That is because those who disbelieved followed falsehood whereas those who believed followed the Truth that came to them from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth to people parables showing their true state. 3 Therefore, when you meet the unbelievers smite their necks, then, when you have killed many of them, tie the bonds. Then, either free them by grace or ransom until war shall lay down its loads, in this way, it shall be. Had Allah willed, He would have been victorious over them; except that He might test you, the one by the means of others. As for those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will not let their works to go astray. 4 He will guide them and amend their condition 5 And admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them. 6 O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm. 7 As for the unbelievers, they will suffer misfortunes, and their deeds will be rendered ineffective. 8 this, because they hate [the very thought of] what God has bestowed from on high and thus He causes all their deeds to come to nought! 9 ۞ Have they not then journeyed in the land and seen how was the end of those before them: Allah brought down destruction upon them, and the unbelievers shall have the like of it. 10 That is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector. 11
