Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
THOSE WHO DISBELIEVE and obstruct (others) from the way of God will have wasted their deeds. 1 But those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and believe in that which is sent down to Muhammad (SAW), for it is the truth from their Lord, He will expiate from them their sins, and will make good their state. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow the falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. And thus Allah propoundeth unto mankind their similitude. 3 So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom (themselves) until the war terminates. That (shall be so); and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have exacted what is due from them, but that He may try some of you by means of others; and (as for) those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will by no means allow their deeds to perish. 4 He will show them the way, and better their state, 5 And He shall make them enter the Garden; He shall have made it known unto them. 6 O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet. 7 But as for the unbelievers, ill chance shall befall them! He will send their works astray. 8 This is because they disliked what Allah has sent down – He has therefore squandered all their deeds. 9 ۞ Have they not journeyed in the land and seen the fate of those before them? Destroyed they were utterly by God; and a similar (fate) awaits the unbelievers. 10 That is because God is the protector of the believers, and those who deny the truth have no protector at all. 11
