Or do those in whose hearts is a disease, think that Allah will not bring to light all their rancour? 29 Had We wanted, We could have made you recognize their faces. You will certainly recognize them by the tone of their speech. God knows all your deeds. 30 And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you [for the cause of Allah] and the patient, and We will test your affairs. 31 Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and opposed the Messenger after guidance had become clear to them - never will they harm Allah at all, and He will render worthless their deeds. 32 Ye who believe! obey Allah and obey the apostle, and render not your works vain. 33 ۞ Those who disbelieve and bar from God's way and then die disbelieving, them God will not forgive. 34 Therefore do not relax, nor call towards truce by yourself; and it is you who will dominate; and Allah is with you, and He will never cause a loss in your deeds. 35 The life of this world is but play and pastime, but if you believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and fear Allah, and avoid evil, He will grant you your wages, and will not ask you your wealth. 36 If He were to ask you for your possessions and press you (in that regard), you would have grown niggardly, and Allah would have brought your failings to light. 37 Beware! You are called to spend in the way of God, yet some among you close their fists. But he who is niggardly is so for his own self: God is above need, and it is you who are needy. If you turn away then God will bring other people in your place who, moreover, will not be like you. 38
