Or, do those who have a disease in their hearts think that Allah will not reveal their hatred? 29 Had We pleased We could have shown them to you that you could know them by their marks, and recognise them from the way they twist their words. Yet God knows all your deeds. 30 And We shall assuredly try you until We know those of you who struggle and are steadfast, and try your tidings. 31 Verily, those who disbelieve, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah (i.e. Islam), and oppose the Messenger (SAW) (by standing against him and hurting him), after the guidance has been clearly shown to them, they will not hurt Allah in the least, but He will make their deeds fruitless, 32 O you who believe! obey Allah and obey the Apostle, and do not make your deeds of no effect. 33 ۞ Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and then died while they were disbelievers - never will Allah forgive them. 34 Therefore, do not be weakened and call out for peace, you shall be the upper ones, and Allah is with you and will not deprive you of your labors. 35 The life of this world is but a play and a passing delight: but if you believe [in God] and are conscious of Him, He will grant you your deserts. And withal, He does not demand of you [to sacrifice in His cause all of] your possessions: 36 [for,] if He were to demand of you all of them, and urge you, you would niggardly cling [to them,] and so He would [but] bring out your moral failings. 37 Behold, you are those who are called upon to spend in Allah's Way, but some of you are niggardly. Whoever is niggardly is in fact niggardly to himself. For Allah is All-Sufficient, whereas it is you who are in need of Him. If you turn away, He will replace you by a people other than you, and they will not be like you. 38
