Victory (Al-Fatt-h)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Verily, We have given you (O Muhammad SAW) a manifest victory. 1 that Allah forgives your past and future sins, and completes His Favor to you, and guides you on a Straight Path, 2 And [that] Allah may aid you with a mighty victory. 3 He it is Who sent down peace of reassurance into the hearts of the believers that they might add faith unto their faith. Allah's are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is ever Knower, Wise - 4 So that He would admit the believers (both male and female) to the gardens wherein streams flow, to live therein forever. He will redeem them. This is the greatest triumph in the sight of God, 5 and that He may chastise the hypocrites, men and women alike, and the idolaters men and women alike, and those who think evil thoughts of God; against them shall be the evil turn of fortune. God is wroth with them, and has cursed them, and has prepared for them Gehenna -- an evil homecoming! 6 And to Allah belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise. 7 Indeed, We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner 8 so that you believe in Allah and His Messenger and that you support him, revere him (Prophet Muhammad), and exalt Him (Allah), at the dawn and in the evening. 9 Those who swear allegiance to you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), do indeed in fact swear allegiance to Allah; Allah's Hand* of Power is above their hands; so whoever breaches his oath, has breached his own greater promise; and whoever fulfils the covenant he has with Allah – so very soon Allah will bestow upon him a great reward. (Used as a metaphor.) 10
