Victory (Al-Fatt-h)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Indeed, We have opened for you (Prophet Muhammad) a clear opening, 1 so that God might show His forgiveness of all thy faults, past as well as future, and [thus] bestow upon thee the full measure of His blessings, and guide thee on a straight way, 2 And that Allah may succour thee with a mighty succour. 3 It is He who sent down the Shechina (tranquillity) into the hearts of the believers, that they might add faith to their faith -- to God belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth; God is All-knowing, All-wise -- 4 and so that He might admit the believers, men and women, into Gardens through which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever, and so that He may remove their evils from them, that is, indeed, a supreme triumph in God's eyes, 5 so that He would punish the hypocrites and the pagans who have evil suspicions about God. It is they who are surrounded by evil and have become subject to the wrath and condemnation of God. He has prepared for them hell, a terrible place to live. 6 Allah's are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is ever Mighty, Wise. 7 Surely We have sent you as a witness and as a bearer of good news and as a warner, 8 So that (men) may believe in God and His Apostle, and honour Him and revere Him, and sing His praises morning and evening. 9 Those who swear allegiance to you indeed swear allegiance to God; and God's protection is over them. Then whosoever breaks the promise breaks it to his own loss; but whosoever fulfills the promise made to God will receive a great reward from Him. 10
