Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 What, when we are dead and turned to dust? That indeed would be an unlikely return' 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 All these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn (to the Truth). 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
