Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 In fact they denied the Truth when it came to them, so they are now in a dilemma. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Were We then fatigued with the first creation? Yet are they in doubt with regard to a new creation. 15
