In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the honored Qur'an... 1 In fact, it seems odd (to the pagans) that a warner from their own people has come to them. The disbelievers have said, "It is very strange 2 What! When we are dead and reduced to mere dust, (shall we be raised to life)? Such a return is far-fetched.” 3 We know what the earth consumes of them, for We have the Book that preserves everything. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 We also sent down blessed water from the heaven, wherewith We caused gardens and harvest-grain to grow, 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan,] and the people of Tubba: they all gave the lie to the apostles - and thereupon that whereof I had warned [them] came true. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
