Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 And the earth! We have spread it forth, and have cast therein firm mountains, and have caused to grow therein of every beauteous kind of plants: 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 As sustenance for (Allah's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: Thus will be the Resurrection. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
