Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 Nay, but they cried lies to the truth when it came to them, and so they are in a case confused. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to Allah). 8 And We send down from the skies water rich in blessings, and cause thereby gardens to grow, and fields of grain, 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
