Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. 11 The people of Noah, Ar-Rass and Thamud denied before you, 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
