Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 thus offering an insight and a reminder unto every human being who willingly turns unto God. 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, 10 Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
