Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 And the earth! We have spread it forth, and have cast therein firm mountains, and have caused to grow therein of every beauteous kind of plants: 7 A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
