Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 As did the people of 'Ad and Pharaoh and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
