Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 Nay! they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, so the unbelievers say: This is a wonderful thing: 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion. 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 An insight and a Reminder for every slave turning to Allah (i.e. the one who believes in Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon). 8 We also sent down blessed water from the heaven, wherewith We caused gardens and harvest-grain to grow, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
