Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched." 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 But no! They called the truth a lie when it came to them; so they are in a confused state. 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 An insight and a Reminder for every slave turning to Allah (i.e. the one who believes in Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon). 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
