Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We know all what the earth decreases from them; and with Us is a Book that retains. 4 Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 As sustenance for the bondmen; and with it We revived a dead city; this is how you will be raised. 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
