Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 as sustenance for My servants. With this We have brought the dead land back to life. Thus, will also be your resurrection. 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 Did We fail in the first creation? But they are in confusion over a new creation. 15
