Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 Nay! they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, so the unbelievers say: This is a wonderful thing: 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every joyous kind 7 An insight and an admonition for every bondman penitent. 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah who denied you, O Muhammad SAW) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamud, 12 And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
