Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the honored Qur'an... 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 So did they not see the sky above them – how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? 6 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every joyous kind 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 all this as sustenance for Our servants. And thus We do bring the dead land back to life with water. Such shall be the coming forth (of human beings from the earth). 11 The folk of Noah denied (the truth) before them, and (so did) the dwellers at Ar-Rass and (the tribe of) Thamud, 12 And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren, 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
