Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Qaf. By the honored Qur'an... 1 Rather they were shocked that a Herald of Warning came to them from among themselves, so the disbelievers said, “This is something really strange.” 2 When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched." 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Did We fail in the first creation? But they are in confusion over a new creation. 15
