Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 What, when we are dead and turned to dust? That indeed would be an unlikely return' 3 We know what the earth consumes of them, for We have the Book that preserves everything. 4 In fact they denied the Truth when it came to them, so they are now in a dilemma. 5 Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We have fashioned and adorned it, and it has no flaw? 6 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every joyous kind 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 and Ad, and Pharaoh, and Lot's brethren, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
