Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 The folk of Noah denied (the truth) before them, and (so did) the dwellers at Ar-Rass and (the tribe of) Thamud, 12 and Ad, and Pharaoh, and Lot's brethren, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
