Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Qaf. [These letters (Qaf, etc.) are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the Glorious Quran. 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 All these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn (to the Truth). 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
