Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. 11 [Long] before those [who now deny resurrection] did Noah's people give the lie to this truth, and [so did] the folk of Ar-Rass, and [the tribes of] Thamud 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Did We fail in the first creation? But they are in confusion over a new creation. 15
