Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We know very well what the earth takes away from them: We hold a book which records all things. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every joyous kind 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
