Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 Surely We know that which the earth consumeth of them, and with Us is a Book preserved. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]. 8 And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 The folk of Noah denied (the truth) before them, and (so did) the dwellers at Ar-Rass and (the tribe of) Thamud, 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
